If you decide to make a wood flooring in your place you will need to choose from hardwood, engineer wood and laminate.
First of all, your choice will depend on the room where you want to install flooring. Engineer and laminate flooring are very good for a basement. You also should know how much your floor will be abused. Laminate is less very good versus scratches.
